Businesswoman and founder of Theranos, Elizabeth Holmes, after serving three years at the Texas Federal Prison Camp since May 30, 2023, has opened up and shed light on her innocence and her fight to prove she did nothing wrong.According to TMZ, Elizabeth Holmes, 42, was convicted on January 3, 2022, after being found guilty by a federal jury on four counts of fraud related to conning the investors of her biotech company Theranos, which specializes in blood testing. According to Variety, while Holmes is meant to serve eleven years in prison, she has recently decided to finally speak up, reportedly claiming that she is innocent and that she was forced into silence.The chemical engineering dropout from Stanford University, Holmes, who is currently engaged to Billy Evans, with whom she shares two kids, took to her X (formerly Twitter) and shared a picture of herself along with Evans, with a long caption that read:"I was silenced for a long time. And then imprisoned. I am fighting to prove my innocence and come home to my babies and the love of my life."Elizabeth Holmes went ahead and mentioned how she loves her partner Evans and that he is one of the closest people who have been handling her social media. She also shared that she has spent over a thousand days in prison trying to fight for her freedom. Holmes wrote:"I have now been imprisoned for 1,216 endless days and nights. During that time, as we fight for freedom, my loved ones have helped manage my account. Billy is one of the people carrying that responsibility for me. He fights fiercely for me and our family. I love him beyond space and time."As she mentioned the support that she has received so far in fighting for her innocence and exposing the truth, Holmes further noted:"Starting now, all posts in my own words will be marked as EAH. Posts without that signature are from the team managing this account. I am profoundly grateful for the support we receive as we fight to expose the truth and challenge deeply entrenched perceptions.
