On September 17, Candace Owens claimed that she received emails from parents who informed her about Erika Kirk’s alleged ‘secret’ event in Idaho. In her latest X post, the political commentator wrote that Charlie Kirk’s widow will address middle and high schoolers at a private Christian school during the event. Candace Owens also added that parents of these students aren’t allowed to attend the event. The podcaster wrote:“Parents have emailed me about another “secret” event that Erika is doing today addressing middle schoolers and high schoolers in Idaho. It is a daytime event at a private Christian school (I will not name the school or town), and the parents are not welcome to attend.”She raised questions about why Turning Point USA suddenly shifted its focus to ‘underaged’ kids and who funded the alleged event.“My question is why? Why is TPUSA suddenly focused on espousing politics to underage kids? And who is privately pushing for or funding this? Everything about this makes my skin crawl,” Candace Owens added.Candace Owens reacts after Charlie Kirk’s family preserves right to sue UVUCharlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10 at Utah Valley University (UVU) while he hosted his TPUSA event. Soon after his first death anniversary, Charlie Kirk’s family reportedly reserved their right to sue UVU for their ‘failure’ to protect the late activist despite warnings from TPUSA. The notice said that Kirk’s death might have been avoided if UVU had proper planning. It read:“Tragically, the UVU Parties failed to rise to the occasion”The podcaster reacted to this new notice. She claimed that it was TPUSA who insisted on holding Charlie’s event at UVU, even though the university never demanded it. In her post, she wrote:“It was Turning Point USA themselves. They insisted on it, despite the University advising otherwise. Now they are suing for what they demanded.”She seemingly targeted TPUSA for holding Kirk’s memorial event at UVU and suing it for security failures just a few days later.Since Charlie Kirk's passing, Owens has targeted Erika many times. The podcaster even raised doubts about her appointment as the new CEO of TPUSA days after her husband's murder.
