On August 19, Candace Owens slammed Blake Neff after community note challenged his claims about Tyler Robinson’s latest defense filings ahead of the final preliminary hearing. In his recent tweet, TPUSA spokesman pointed out that none of Candace Owens’ theories about Charlie Kirk’s assassination were included in Tyler’s defense filings. Blake Neff wrote:

“Utah prosecutors have responded to Tyler Robinson's defense filing ahead of the final preliminary hearing, and confirms what observers pointed out about that filing: The defense is very conspicuously not contesting any of the core evidence showing Tyler Robinson committed the murder. They don't contest the camera footage, the DNA, the rifle, the cause of death, or Tyler's phone data.”

He went on to question the credibility of Owens’ theories as none of them were brought up by the suspect’s defense.

“All they have is a complaint about reliable hearsay (which won't apply at the full trial anyway) and then attacks on the aggravating factors. If there was any merit at all to any of the theories that Candace et al. have pushed the last 11 months, why didn't the defense bring them up?” Blake Neff wrote.

Neff’s tweet was soon challenged by with the community note that claimed preliminary hearings decide only probable cause, therefore, defense don’t mention any alternative theories in their filings. It further read that silence can’t prove if theories lack merit.

Candace Owens further reacted to Neff’s tweet in her latest podcast episode. She slammed Blake for intentionally lying and misrepresenting the details about hearings. She said:

“Blakey. He's already been community noted on it for its intentional misrepresentation. He just lies and misrepresents and we're the bad guys for noticing that he's doing it.”

Candace Owens added:

“I guess community noted before I can even reply because it's it's it's stunning to me that he thinks he can get away with this. It says preliminary hearings decide only probable cause under the Utah 112 standard. Um uh reliable hearsay is allowed. Defense council often skip alternative theories to avoid previewing their strategy before the trial,”

Candace Owens has supported Tyler Robinson amid Charlie Kirk murder case

The political commentator has repeatedly shown support for Charlie Kirk’s murder suspect, Tyler Robinson. Most recently in July, Candace Owens dropped an unseen footage of Losee Center’s rooftop with Kirk’s alleged killer. In the clip, a man was seen running on the roof and doing military-like movements.

Candace claimed that this unseen footage contradicted the official account presented in court. According to the feds, Tyler was limping as he concealed a rifle inside his jeans. But, the video shown by Owens didn’t show any rifle or limping.

Andrew Kolvet and Blake Neff argued saying that there’s an additional footage that shows Tyler Robinson pulling out and assembling his rifle on the day of Charlie’s murder.
