Professional boxer Clarissa Shields extended her support to Lil Woody after the latter shared his thoughts about Pooh Shiesty. For the uninitiated, Shiesty was recently arrested in Dallas for alleged kidnapping and robbing people. He was one of the eight people to face arrest.Meanwhile, in a self-recorded video from his car, Woody said that Pooh Shiesty needed to change his mentality after getting out of prison. For context, Shiesty was released in October 2025, after he served a 63-month sentence for a gun charge. Although many criticised Woody’s comments, Shields defended him in the comments, writing:“Y'all be calling Woody stupid, he not stupid though. He's real, Very calculated & and really be preaching.”Elsewhere in the video, Woody said that with the amount of time Pooh Shiesty spent in jail, he must have seen “unbelievable cases,” in which the feds went to great lengths. He said:“Pooh Shiesty came home y'all and made the first day out they sent him right back to jail. Pride and ego is our main enemy.”He said this is also the reason why he is in a fight with himself, so that he does not end up back in jail and be away from his children. Speaking of Pooh Shiesty, he said:“He had all the cars, the lifestyle, everything he dreamed of having. But he didn't change his mindset. Look what the boy did. The boy don't went and did some stupid sh*t cause him to go back to jail. Listen, young man. We our own enemy.”Lil Woody compared the Pooh Shiesty situation to Grand Theft AutoLil Woody said that things only changed when they changed their way of thinking. He explained that they no longer needed to keep up a fake image because they had already achieved what others wished for. He added that people often keep going until they fail, but it is important to know when to stop.He also said that while others may cheer someone on, the reality becomes clear when one faces serious consequences like getting arrested. In his message, Woody said:“This ain't Grand Theft Auto. This ain't no f*cking TV show. This our real lives. And y'all wonder why the white people don't want to see her with no money? Cuz we do stupid sh*t with it. You had no business doing that.”According to NBC, the latest arrest stems from the incident that happened on January 10. The main target in it was rapper Gucci Mane, who was in Dallas for work related to a recording contract. The group, including Pooh Shiesty, made Mane sign a contract at gunpoint. Others in the group robbed two people and took away expensive watches, jewellery, etc. As per a statement by US Attorney Ryan Raybould:“As alleged, nine defendants traveled to Dallas, Texas, to kidnap and rob victims who thought they were coming into town for a business meeting. Instead of discussing business in a civil manner, the defendants resorted to violence and intimidation to achieve their purported business objectives.”As per the prosecutors of the case, although he was in home detention, Pooh Shiesty was present at the time of the incident. This was a violation.
