On September 14, Candace Owens demanded that Turning Point release footage and more details after Charlie Kirk's statue was vandalized. Earlier on September 13, the pictures showing the late activist’s vandalized statue surfaced on the internet. Charlie Kirk’s eight-foot-tall statue was unveiled recently to mark his first death anniversary on September 10. The statue was placed at Turning Point USA’s Phoenix headquarters, and as seen in the pictures, the memorial was defaced with red paint.Following this, Candace Owens seemingly raised doubts on TPUSA and asked them to share security footage of their secured campus.“Has Turning Point shared any video or provided any details regarding a vehicle description of who drove up to their heavily-surveilled campus and threw paint? Was it a male or a female? One person or two?” Candace Owens wrote.Owens went on to demand more details about the perpetrator's vehicle. The political commentator also called it an act to promote Turning Point Action.“All I’m seeing is them promoting Turning Point Action and blaming the Left. In her podcast, Owens revealed that even before hearing about Charlie’s death, she told her husband that Kirk was betrayed.“You know, before we even found out that you didn't make it, I knew you were betrayed. I told George that as we prayed in his office, I said, They betrayed him,” Owens said.Further in her open letter to Charlie, she raised doubts about why the video of his murder was shared on different social platforms.For those unversed, Charlie was reportedly shot near his neck during his September 10 event at Utah Valley University. Ever since his death, Owens has repeatedly hinted at a wider conspiracy behind Kirk’s assassination. She has even raised doubts about his wife, Erika Kirk, and his company's involvement in a cover-up of his murder.
