Big Ballin actor Todd Bridges is currently all over the internet after finally initiating legal proceedings related to his divorce from designer and photographer Bettijo B. Hirschi, as per People. The 61-year-old Bridges stated that the reason behind the divorce is that their marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
As per documents reviewed by People, the High School USA! actor Todd Bridges filed a Petition for Dissolution of Marriage Without Minor Children on March 31, 2026, in a court in Arizona’s Maricopa County.
While Bridges and Hirschi did not request spousal support, they made it clear that they also do not have any debts or community property. They have mutually settled other terms between them outside the court.
The Diff’rent Strokes actor, Todd Bridges, who first met Hirschi in January 2022, eventually proposed to her after six months. They got hitched in September 2022. While Todd Bridges was married to Bettijo B. Hirschi for close to three and a half years, Bridges filed for divorce on March 31, 2026, in Arizona.
Bridges was previously married to Dori Bridges, with whom he has a daughter, Bo, and a son, Spencir. While Dori and Todd tied the knot in 1998, they went their separate ways in 2012 after a divorce. Bettijo was previously married as well and has four children from that marriage.
However, Todd and Bettijo managed to blend their families quite well. As per People, they even hosted a podcast known as Dang! in 2024, in which they had discussions and conversations regarding family, love, anxiety, addiction, and mental health struggles.

While Todd Bridges filed for divorce from Hirschi in March 2026, the Everybody Hates Chris actor broke the news of their split three months prior, in January 2026. Todd, in a statement at the time, said:
"After much prayer and reflection, my spouse and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This was not an easy choice, and it comes with a heavy heart, but also with love and gratitude for the life we shared."
While Todd talked about new beginnings and having peace, he also took a moment to thank God for the time he and Hirschi were together. He went ahead and added:
"I thank God for the time we’ve had together, the lessons we’ve learned, and the family we’ve built. Even in this season of change, I trust He is guiding us both toward healing, peace, and new beginnings."
Todd Bridges further added:
"I ask for privacy as we navigate this transition and continue to lift my former partner up in prayer, wishing them joy and fulfillment in the chapters ahead."
