Mandy Moore and Hilary Duff: A glimpse into their friendship

Meanwhile, Mandy Moore and Hilary Duff have been friends for over two decades, which started in the 2000s during the early years of their careers.

Interestingly, their connection deepened after they became parents, and they currently belong to the same "mom group," where they share their parenting experiences.

The two stars were also part of the infamous Vanity Fair's Young Hollywood in 2003, which also included their fellow cohorts Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Bynes, and the Olsen twins.

Hilary Duff looked back at the experience in 2022, recalling Mandy Moore and the experience.

"I remember being like, 'This is cool I was included in this,' but no, this was a very high stress, anxiety-inducing day. Mandy and I are great friends now, so this is very funny."

One major proof of their friendship was when the What Dreams Are Made Of hitmaker and her producer husband, Matthew Koma, offered Mandy Moore and her family a place to stay after their home was devastated by the LA wildfires. According to her husband, Taylor Goldsmith's brother, Griffin:

"They are currently housing my brother's family. They've taken care of my entire family from the moment this began. I will never be able to thank them adequately. This is the kindest act any human could do for another."

Moore's brother-in-law also revealed that Duff and Koma launched a GoFundMe for his own family, as their home was also ruined by the fires.

"They are the most beautiful, selfless people we’ve ever known."
