Actress Rachel McAdams recently celebrated a big achievement with her longtime partner, Jamie Linden. The actress was awarded a star at the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, January 20.

Rachel McAdams, along with her partner Jamie Linden, attended her Walk of Fame ceremony. She even gave him a charming shout-out during her address, and the couple was beaming as they sat together in the audience.

Rachel McAdams and Jamie Linden have been dating for more than a decade. The couple share two children together, the names of whom haven't been disclosed by the couple.

About Rachel McAdams' children

Rachel McAdams and Jamie Linden's first child (a son) was born in April 2018 when McAdams was 39 years old.

McAdams claimed to be "having more fun being a mom" than she had ever experienced during that same interview. "Everything about it is interesting and exciting and inspiring to me," she stated. "Even the tough days – there's something delightful about them," choosing the time to have children.

McAdams provided some details on her son's experience in quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown. At a virtual event called Heroes of Health: Covid-19 Stream-a-thon, she called her kid "so entertaining."

"I wondered if I would want to be in quarantine with my family or by myself. Yes, there are days, but without him to keep things interesting, I would be bored," McAdams said during the interview.

The second child of Rachel McAdams was a daughter born in 2020. Just like her firstborn, McAdams did not reveal any details about her daughter as well.

In 2022, McAdams talked to Access Hollywood about her expectations for the movie and how she believes her daughter will see it eventually.

"I'm excited for my own little girl to see it one day," she said about Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. "There were times when I couldn't stop crying because I thought about my kid experiencing these things in the future. How bizarre and lovely it is."

She spoke to People magazine on the red carpet of a movie's premiere about how parenthood affected her.

"As a mom, it's not too, too hard to find the messiness, the privilege of getting to watch a child grow up and be their parent," McAdams stated.

About Rachel McAdams' Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony

Rachel McAdams, along with her longtime screenwriter boyfriend Jamie Linden, attended her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on January 20 in a black and beige ensemble.

McAdams and Linden were spotted smiling and attending the event joyfully. Rachel also thanked her family members, friends, and supporters for her success.

“It seems silly to just have my name on here, so I share this little piece of Earth with all of you. To Jamie, my North Star, (sister) Kayleen, my other North Star, Thank you for being such a great team and keeping me quasi-normal. I Love You all so much. Thank you so much," Rachel said in her speech.

The ceremony marked a rare time when McAdams and Linden were spotted together, as the two have kept their relationship and family life quite private.
