Houston rapper Cartel Bo, whose actual name is Warren Tramelle Brown II, has three children, according to a financial affidavit filed in Harris County court. The detail came to light after the rapper was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping for allegedly holding the mother of his children captive inside a locked closet at his Cypress, Texas, home for several days before she fled.According to court papers published by the Houston Chronicle, Brown listed three children and his occupation as a full-time entertainer in his financial affidavit. He has already talked publicly about his daughters, stating in a 2024 press release that they were one of the reasons he stayed motivated after his release from prison. Brown said:“I push, man. I can’t let my daughters down, I can’t let the people who believe in me down. I can’t do that. This sh*t gotta go."Brown has three children, according to the court document, although not all of them have been publicly recognized in reports about his present case. According to court records, Brown and the alleged victim have a one-year-old child together.Brown, who performs under the name Cartel Bo, is a Houston-based rapper who dropped his debut album in 2018 and has since amassed over 100,000 monthly Spotify listeners. Some of his releases include Life After The Feds (It Get Better), I'm Gone and Monsters Amongst Monsters, and has also collaborated with That Mexican OT on Tha Kitchen.What happened to Cartel Bo and the mother of his children?Brown is suspected of kidnapping the mother of his children on July 21 and detaining her in a closet at a Cypress home for about four days. According to the documents, the woman said that Brown kept the closet locked with a deadbolt, checked on her every hour, sexually assaulted her, and refused to let her leave.According to authorities, she eventually escaped when Cartel Bo left the house on July 25. The court documents cited by the Houston Chronicle, claims that she escaped while still wearing handcuffs and was assisted by a neighbor, who provided her with food and notified authorities. Officers apparently found her at a neighboring Waffle House before transporting her to the hospital for treatment.Deputies then conducted a welfare check on the Cypress property. Investigators reportedly discovered a deadbolt on the closet door, as well as zip ties and fast-food wrappers inside the house.Brown AKA Cartel Bo was subsequently arrested on outstanding warrants stemming from separate assault accusations involving the same woman.He was later charged with aggravated kidnapping. Prosecutors asked to hold him without bond until trial, and court records show that bond was refused prior to his next hearing.Brown's attorney, Samuel Lee Milledge II, reportedly described the case as not "the prettiest," but insisted that his client will eventually "come away from this unscathed."Cartel Bo faces charges over alleged June incidentCartel Bo's not "the prettiest" case follows an alleged incident in the month of June. The kidnapping charge stems from an earlier alleged encounter between Brown, the same woman, and an Uber driver outside a Houston recording studio on June 23.According to court records, the woman went to pick up their one-year-old child and then arranged an Uber ride. The driver informed detectives that he noticed her sprinting toward his vehicle with the child's car seat, while Brown allegedly chased her.The driver said that Brown grabbed and assaulted the woman. When he tried to intervene, Brown allegedly punched him repeatedly in the face and body and threatened to kill him.Bo made allegations about BlancoA year ago in July 2025, Cartel Bo took to his Instagram stories where he uploaded a lengthy list of people with whom he believed Trillselda Blanco, his children's mother, had been involved with.The list included some well-known athletes and rappers, such as Stefon Diggs, Deion Sanders Jr., Rich the Kid, Slim Thug, Kirko Bangz, Andrew Wiggins, DeAndre Hopkins, Gervonta Davis, and others. Brown allegedly ended the post by stating that he could continue listing names for hours. After the latest incident, the list has gone viral again.The charges were not independently verified, and Blanco dismissed them. She responded publicly at the time, accusing Brown of domestic abuse and sharing what she claimed were documents relating to charges made by another woman against him.As of now, Bo remains in custody as the the aggravated kidnapping and assault cases are being investigated.
