American singer and actress Shelley Fabares died on August 22 at the age of 82. She breathed her last in Los Angeles. Shortly after her passing, PEOPLE confirmed the star’s cause of death. As per reports, Shelley Fabares’ family revealed that she died due to pneumonia. Earlier in 2000, the Coach actress received a liver transplant after she was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis.The late actress was surrounded by her family in her final moments. Fabares is survived by her husband, Mike Farrell, and her stepchildren.On August 23, Shelley’s family released a statement following her death. They remembered her as sister, daughter, stepmother, aunt, and friend.
