Taylor Swift has indirectly revealed how she feels about her private text messages with bestie Blake Lively being revealed.

A source close to the pop star told PEOPLE exclusively that the friendship between the two has reached a pause. As part of Blake's ongoing legal dispute with Justin Baldoni as well as Wayfarer Studios, conversations between Swift and Lively were partially unsealed on January 20th.
Taylor's rep revealed that "Taylor feels like her privacy was impacted. Anyone would be uncomfortable if their private texts were suddenly made public.”
Blake's lawyers have also stated that a lot of the correspondence between the two was taken out of context.
According to them, the actress had said she "sent Taylor the script on her way to my apartment because Justin was still there, and I asked her to read them. I told her she didn’t have to, I didn’t want her to feel pressured to do that, but I hoped that she would."
The rep told PEOPLE that Taylor Swift “was just being a friend to Blake, and it’s turned into something bigger than she ever expected. She never thought private messages would become public." However, now "Taylor is just trying to stay away from the drama."
Justin's attorneys have been trying to get rid of the case before it even goes to trial, which is set to begin in May.
The messages also revealed that Taylor Swift was a lot more involved in the script and filming process than originally imagined. Besides Taylor, other celebrity friends of Lively and Reynolds have also been mentioned in the documents, including Matt Damon and his wife Luciana. The duo have been friends since 2015 and have shared multiple wholesome public moments together.
