Cassie Ventura has reportedly moved outside the United States and has no plans to return, per recent court documents related to a pending litigation.

The American artist, who shot into fame with her 2006 track Me & U, filed a declaration dated May 1 regarding a case against male sex worker Clayton Howard.

In the filing, Cassie Ventura stated that she currently lives outside the country and has no intention of coming back, TMZ reported.

The singer's legal team has moved for dismissal of Howard's lawsuit against her, which alleges that she and Sean "Diddy" Combs forced him into having intercourse with her and that she gave him sexually transmitted infections, resulting in her becoming pregnant and getting an abortion.

Meanwhile, the May documents do not reveal where she currently lives or when she moved.

The move was made after a time of great publicity, when she became entangled in legal proceedings linked to federal cases surrounding her former partner, Diddy.

Cassie Ventura previously testified in Combs' racketeering and sex trafficking trial in New York. During those proceedings, she described alleged abuse during their long relationship, which lasted from 2007 to 2018.

The singer's testimony became a central part of the case and drew widespread public attention.

In May 2023, Cassie Ventura filed a major civil suit accusing Combs of r**e, sex trafficking, and years of physical abuse. Even though the case was settled the very next day, with Combs paying $20 million to Cassie, it served as the catalyst behind the federal investigation of the rapper.

Ventura became the government's key witness in the probe and was given four days of emotive recounting of her tumultuous decade-long relationship with the disgraced music executive.

According to the Long Way 2 Go songstress, she was forced to do "freak-offs" and had been subjected to regular beatings, dragging, and kicking.

She further testified that the embattled rapper used recordings of the events to blackmail her and have power over her life and career.

Following Combs' conviction on prostitution-led charges and his 50-month prison sentence, Cassie Ventura submitted a letter to the judge through her legal team.

"While nothing can undo the trauma caused by Combs, the sentence imposed today recognizes the impact of the serious offenses he committed. We are confident that with the support of her family and friends, Ms. Ventura will continue healing knowing that her bravery and fortitude have been an inspiration to so many."

Cassie Ventura was also identified in her previous statements before the court that she is an American but clarified that she does not reside in California. Through her latest statement, there was clear proof that she is already living somewhere else outside America.

As of writing, she lives a private life with her husband, personal trainer and actor Alex Fine, and their three children.
