Married to The Babymakers actress Olivia Munn, comedian John Mulaney won't be performing in Mississauga's September 11-13 shows, which were supposed to be held at Erindale Park. According to BlogTo, the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival, which Mulaney, 44, was set to headline, has pushed back the Mississauga, Ontario, shows.

According to BlogTo, while this was not John Mulaney's first postponed or cancelled comedy show, the stand-up comic-turned-actor was set to headline the GOCF's opening night on September 11, with comedians like James Austin and Stavros Halkias as the opening acts.

Following the GOCF's announcement on September 8, 2026, about the show's postponement, the Dickinson actor, John Mulaney, took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle and shared a post on September 9 informing his fans that the Mississauga, Ontario dates have been pushed back. Mulaney's X post began with:

"To everyone in Ontario."

He continued:

"Although it was not my decision, The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival shows this weekend in Ontario will not be proceeding as scheduled. The festival producers have unfortunately made the decision to not move forward with any of the 3 nights and 4 different headliners this weekend"

Mulaney concluded by noting:

"I intend to perform in the region soon. More to come. John."

As comedy enthusiasts and fans of John Mulaney won't be seeing the stand-up comic headline the GOCF at Erindale Park on September 11, the Ontario comedy fest has shared a statement on September 8 about the weekend dates being pushed back. While no particular reason has been mentioned by the organizers for the last-minute change, the GOCF statement reads:

"We are sorry to share that the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival in Mississauga will not be happening this weekend as planned."

The statement further added:

"After careful consideration, the GOCF team has made the difficult decision to postpone our show scheduled for September 11th-13th, 2026. We know there was a lot of excitement around the show, but our priority is to deliver the best possible festival, and we believe that postponing this week's performance is the right decision to ensure we can do that."

According to BlogTo, the organizers of the GOCF have also stated that they will share an update soon, as they are currently evaluating alternative dates.
