On August 23, Andrew Wilson reacted to Candace Owens’ X post where she demanded TPUSA’s response over Charlie Kirk and Dan Flood’s alleged leaked chats from the night before Kirk’s murder. Andrew Wilson shared screenshots of chats claiming it to be text exchanges between Charlie Kirk and Dan Flood. The latter was the man responsible for security on the day of the event. In his leaked chats, Kirk double-checked the security arrangements as he appeared nervous for his event on September 10 last year. Charlie’s company hasn’t reacted to these chats as of now. Therefore, Candace Owens asked for a response from TPUSA’s representatives, Andrew Kolvet and Erika Kirk, and to confirm their authenticity. She said:“Why won’t Turning Point USA publicly acknowledge the alleged text message leak from Charlie Kirk to Dan Flood? Andrew Wilson is not a party to the text messages as he did not know Charlie at all. Can @MrsErikaKirk or @AndrewKolvet confirm their authenticity? If not, the pubic is right to assume they are completely fake.”Andrew Wilson replied to Candace’s tweet as she said that Andrew was not part of the story at the time Charlie Kirk was alive. Wilson wrote:“I did too. I met him in a dream. He was hovering over me and he said, "Andrew....don't let Candace free my murderer" I take this commission seriously.”Candace Owens and Andrew Wilson debated over Kirk’s murder recentlyIt all started after Andrew claimed that he offered $300k to Candace for a debate over who killed Charlie Kirk during his appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast. Candace Owens reacted to Wilson’s debate offer, and she agreed to it.Finally, the debate happened on August 14, and it was moderated by Patrick Bet-David as the moderator after Michael Knowles declined their offer. Both Candace and Andrew came face to face, while the former defended murder suspect Tyler Robinson, the latter defended Charlie’s widow Erika Kirk. There wasn’t any outcome to the debate as the two couldn’t find out the killer. For those unversed, Charlie was killed by gunshot at UVU on September 10 last year. He was hosting his event when a bullet allegedly came and struck near his neck. His alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, was caught the day after the assassination.
