Daphne Joy, the model who shares a son with rapper 50 Cent, has made headlines this week after an alleged intimate video featuring her, Sean "Diddy" Combs, and adult actor Sly Digger surfaced online. As per a report shared by Complex, Joy posted a response to her Instagram.

Daphne Joy did not name anyone in the post. That being said, her message was pointed, as she wrote openly about a relationship in which she admits crossing her own limits to keep her partner happy, a situation which has left her describing it as one of the most painful things she has had to process.

"Everybody plays the fool sometime, and I have been the biggest fool. I just wanted my man at the time to be happy and satisfied... I wanted to fulfill all his desires.. even if that meant breaking my own boundaries," she wrote.
"I deeply loved him.. and I believed he loved me too. It's still so painful for me to process the harsh reality and truth of that relationship... I realize that it was far from love," she continued.

Joy's biggest assertion throughout the post was that the footage exists without her consent.

"The recent leak was a tape I never consented to being filmed on," she wrote.

Daphne Joy reveals blackmail attempt and how a media company backed off from broadcasting the tape:

Joy also went into detail about the extortion attempt she faced over the footage, as she alleged that the individual in the video demanded a large sum of money in exchange for keeping it off the internet.

"I was blackmailed by the person in the video and was threatened that if I didn't give him the lump sum of money that they would leak it on the web," she wrote.
"I almost gave in to this demand and once I didn't, this person eventually sold this tape to a giant media outlet," she added.

Daphne Joy also shared what happened when the media company reached out to her directly. She fainted. It was the first time in her life that had happened to her.

As per a report shared by Bossip, once Daphne Joy was contacted by that outlet, she wrote that the company eventually backed down after recognizing what the footage actually was.

"Once the media company understood the tape they purchased was revenge p*rn and an extortion scheme, they backed off from broadcasting it," she wrote,

She also noted that the whole ordeal had taken place "years" ago.

Daphne Joy went on to refer to the tape itself as "abuse," adding that going back and watching the footage was "triggering and painful" for her. As per Complex, Daphne Joy dated Combs from 2021 up until his arrest in 2024, though when exactly the tape was recorded remains unclear.

As per a report shared by the Toronto Sun, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has since responded to the controversy via a pair of social media posts. He didn't hold back.

The rapper-actor reacted to a report in which social media users were discussing the alleged video, which is said to run for nearly forty minutes, writing that Joy wasn't the one deserving sympathy in the situation.

"She's not a victim, SIRE is can you imagine going to eighth grade to find out this is your mom," he wrote.

In a separate post, 50 shifted his focus over to Combs, sharing blurry footage from the supposed video alongside a laughing emoji.

"Free Diddy he has gone through enough being born with no p*nis. LOL," he wrote.

Daphne Joy and 50 Cent had a rocky history involving domestic violence charges and abuse allegations:

As per a report shared by Capital Xtra, Daphne Joy is fifty Cent's second baby mother. The two share their son Sire, who was born in 2012, and Joy is eleven years younger than the rapper.

Their relationship was far from smooth. A year after Sire's birth, 50 Cent faced three years' probation on charges of vandalism and domestic violence against Joy. Things did settle down for a period, though that calm didn't last, as the pair found themselves in a very public custody battle in 2024, with 50 pushing for sole custody of their son.

Joy accused him of being abusive during that period. As per a report shared by The Hollywood Reporter back in 2024, 50 Cent denied her rape and abuse allegations. A rep for the rapper shared a statement at the time,

"The disturbing allegations in the sworn pleadings recently filed in a court case related to Daphne Joy the mother of my twelve year old child, has required me to take all necessary legal actions to protect my son Sire. The most recent false and baseless accusations by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my main priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time."
