Is Natalie Martinez married? All about the actress playing Matthew McConaughey’s wife on Brothers

Born to Cuban immigrant parents, Natalie Martinez, widely known for her action dramas and thrillers, has finally expanded her horizons by trying comedy as she stars in the brand-new Apple TV original comedy series Brothers, featuring Oscar-winning Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.

With her Latin heritage, Natalie Martinez, 42, a first-generation American, made her Hollywood debut in the Jason Statham-starrer action thriller film Death Race, released in 2008, and eventually broke into television, gaining significant fame and media attention after starring in TV shows like CSI: NY and Kingdom.

As per reports, the El Dorado actress, Natalie Martinez, is one of those Hollywood celebrities who are known for keeping their private and family life away from the limelight and public attention. However, while there is no official report of her being married publicly, Martinez is currently single.

While Martinez has been in highly-rated TV shows such as the 2024 crime-drama series Bad Monkey, playing Matthew McConaughey's wife in the recently released Apple series Brothers has been a high point in her acting career.

As Natalie plays McConaughey's fictionalized wife in the show, during an exclusive conversation with Us Weekly, the End of Watch actress revealed that she had the opportunity to spend time with Camila Alves, with whom Matthew has been married for fourteen years. As Martinez got the chance to get to know her as a person, she told Us Weekly:

"I got to talk to her and hang out with her a couple times. She’s a very secure and grounded person. She just seems very comfortable in herself and in her body, and just so beautiful. So I kind of tried to implement that into the character as well."

As the recently released Apple show Brothers focuses on Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson's real-life definitive friendship and legendary bond, Natalie Martinez, who has landed the role of Matthew's wife in the series, revealed to Us Weekly that the story is more fact than it is fiction. Being a part of the show and working with the Dallas Buyers Club actor, McConaughey, Natalie said:

"I think it all comes from a very grounded place and a very real place. You know, when I was doing scenes with Matthew, he would explain to me 'something like this really actually happened!' So I think it’s heavily influenced by their real life."

Natalie also mentioned having the opportunity to work in a comedy show for a change, as she mostly worked in intense dramas and thriller shows. While talking about how the show pushed her out of her comfort zone, Martinez said:

"This is definitely something different, but I’m totally loving it. It’s pushing me out of my comfort zone. We don’t have these kinds of family comedy shows as much anymore where you have this good kind of family dynamic. There are enough stressors in the world right now."
