Tavia Hunt, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, has publicly refuted podcaster Zack Peter's online accusations about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, branding them as "chaotic" and "tacky" in a "false narrative." Her comments came after Peter reviewed a report claiming that attendees at the wedding faced long buffet lines, a shortage of champagne, and were forced to stand during the ceremony.

Tavia wrote:

“It is inappropriate to say things like this.”

Why did Tavia Hunt criticize Zack Peter?

The disagreement started after Zack Peter posted an Instagram Reel addressing Swift and Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden. Before she slammed Zack Peter’s post on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, she uploaded a carousel post on Instagram of her and her family enjoying the big fat wedding:

“All dressed up in New York for a night that already feels like a song.”

Referring to claims from reports, Peter stated that guests were allegedly dissatisfied with certain aspects of the event, such as reports that the reception ran out of champagne early, buffet lines became long, and some attendees deemed the celebration "tacky" or "slightly chaotic."

Tavia Hunt, who was present at the wedding with her husband, Clark Hunt, responded directly in the comments section, rejecting these claims. Hunt responded to Peter's video by disputing nearly every accusation regarding the event in question. She said:

“This is such a false narrative. They did not run out of champagne. There were not long lines.”

She also dismissed the claims that any guests were left standing during the ceremony, stating that everyone was seated.

"Every single person was seated for the ceremony."

And also praised Taylor Swift and Kelce's vows, she described them as:

"Spectacular — beautiful, heartfelt, and absolutely perfect."

She went on to conclude with:

"It could not have been a more fabulous experience. And frankly, it is inappropriate to say things like this when you clearly don't know what you're talking about. That is hearsay—not truth."

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's big fat Disney wedding

Attendees and people close to the couple described the wedding as having an enchanted garden-inspired ambience inside Madison Square Garden. An insider described the venue to US Weekly as:

"The entire wedding had an enchanted garden-inspired vibe. There was light peach drapery everywhere as you entered, blush and white florals, tons of lush greenery, huge trees and candlelight throughout."

Another source added:

"They transformed the venue into an elegant and unique wedding experience that reflected both their personalities. It was decorated elegantly, incorporating their down-to-earth style mixed in."

The guest list was star-studded, featuring names like Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise, and numerous NFL personalities.

Guests reportedly witnessed comedian Adam Sandler, who “said yes right away” when asked to officiate the marriage, before enjoying performances by Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks during the reception.

According to sources, the evening featured games, raffles, and interactive activities for the guests, as well as embroidered handkerchiefs with lyrics from Swift's song Blank Space that served as mementos.

According to one insider, the environment was great with things going on at all times, and Swift and Kelce having “a huge smile which never left either of their faces.”

The insider added that “the whole evening felt very guest-centric. There was always something to do, see or play. There was never a dull moment.”

Ashley Smith, the sister of Trey Smith, who is Travis' Kansas City Chiefs teammate and guard, caught the bouquet thrown by Taylor Swift. She took to Instagram as she shared a photo of herself and the bouquet to celebrate the moment:

“Celebrated an Enchanting Love S(T&T)ory. And somehow…I ended up catching Tay Tay’s bouquet. So here’s to believing it’s bringing a lifetime of love, luck, and laughter my way.”

An insider also revealed to US Weekly on Tuesday that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have chosen to keep certain aspects of their wedding private, including the wedding video, which was recorded at the venue in Madison Square Garden:

"They had it documented for themselves but are keeping it private."

Podcaster Zack Peter's review of reports from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's big fat wedding attracted a lot of attention. However, Chiefs owner’s wife, Tavia Hunt's first-hand account contradicted those reports.

As of now, neither Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, nor their representatives have publicly commented on the reports or Hunt's response.
