On September 10, Karoline Leavitt recalled President Trump’s reaction to Charlie Kirk’s passing on his first death anniversary. The former White House Secretary shared a post on X remembering the late political activist and the day he died. She wrote about Trump’s ‘devastated’ reaction while sitting in the Oval Office at the time he heard about Kirk’s death. Karoline Leavitt shared:“I will forever be sick to my stomach when I think about what happened to Charlie Kirk one year ago today. And I will never forget seeing President Trump’s absolutely devastated reaction when learning the news of his murder while sitting at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.”She added:“It’s still so hard to believe Charlie is actually gone. In his memory, may we recommit ourselves as conservatives to respectfully speaking the truth, especially with those whom we strongly disagree.”Lastly, Leavitt sent her prayers for Charlie Kirk’s parents, his widow Erika, and his kids. He wrote:“One year later, I still miss my friend Charlie. He loved God, loved America, and believed the next generation could be called to faith, freedom, and the Constitution.”The former US Rep, Marjorie Taylor Greene, aka MTG, also shared a post on Kirk’s death anniversary. She recalled how she and Charlie allegedly discussed AIPAC and Israel weeks before his assassination. MTG even added that Charlie invited her to AmFest, while his organization TPUSA did not invite her after his death.“Charlie is deeply missed. He and I talked about AIPAC and Israel only a few weeks before he was killed last year. I called what happened in Gaza genocide (still happening and now in Lebanon) and he invited me to speak at AMFEST. TPUSA did not invite me after he was gone. So...” MTG wrote.For those unaware, Charlie Kirk was killed at Utah University on September 10 last year. He was reportedly shot dead during his event by a murder suspect, Tyler Robinson. Kirk’s alleged killer was arrested on September 11.
