The charges weren't identical. Delaney was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, while Morgan was charged with domestic violence, a Marina Del Rey Sheriff's Station spokesperson confirmed to People. TMZ had reported her charge specifically as felony assault likely to cause great bodily injury, with Morgan's listed as misdemeanor domestic violence. That being said, per Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department records, Morgan had actually been taken in roughly thirty minutes before Delaney, his bail set at $20,000.

As per court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Badalov alleged that Kim Delaney had been "swerving through the streets" and "driving erratically" in Los Angeles back in 2022, a situation which ended with him being thrown off his motorcycle and landing on the street.

What allegedly followed the crash was just as troubling. Badalov claimed Kim Delaney "appeared intoxicated" at the scene and tried to drive away, only being stopped after bystanders intervened. Someone she then called on her phone allegedly suggested paying Badalov off to keep police out of it. That being said, Badalov claimed he turned the money down flat, and Delaney allegedly left the scene anyway.
