As per a recent news report by The Daily Mail, Lena Dunham revealed that her husband Luis Felber initially assumed that the creator was a curve model and had no idea that she was in Girls.

While promoting her new memoir titled Famesick with her former castmate Rita Wilson, the artist opened up about meeting the British musician during a Q/A session.

According to People, Dunham said, "The thing that was so amazing about meeting him was that he'd never seen Girls."

When Felber was in his twenties, his mother and sister watched the HBO series Girls, so he knew about it, but he was too preoccupied with other things to notice who featured in it.

Five years ago, Felber was asked whether he could date a famous woman, according to Dunham, who claimed that her Girls co-star Adam Driver was "spectacularly rude" to her on set.

"Do you think, do you think you could bear to eat dinner with this person?" was the remark that was posted to him on Instagram.
"I thought you might be a curve model," he remarked. "That is the loveliest thing I've ever heard," she added to Wilson, who portrayed the eccentric and conceited mother of Allison Williams' character Marnie on Girls.

To this, Wilson replied that Lena Dunham should talk to plus-size model Ashley Graham.

Felber "didn't seem to come with a lot of preconceived ideas about who I was," she continued. He was there and showed some curiosity, but not much.

The couple moved in together a few months after they started dating in 2021, and in September of the same year they were married.

Felber is "really amazing," Dunham exclaimed. "I love to talk about him because he makes me happy," she said, describing her husband as "an effervescently kind person."

Dunham concluded the interview by saying that she finally feels comfortable in her own skin.

"Every now and then, someone will make a remark about my weight or appearance, and it doesn't affect me as much as it used to because I am so aware of what my body is doing for me," she remarked.

Dunham recently disclosed that, despite having a hysterectomy in 2017 at the age of 31 following years of battling endometriosis, she was "really excited" to begin a family.
