The upcoming short film Flesh Impact is a project that was initiated by Genesis Motor in collaboration with the Donnie Darko actress-turned-film director Maggie Gyllenhaal, which will focus on Marilyn Monroe at the peak of her fame and how she would have been if she had turned 100. Legendary The Exorcist actress Ellen Burstyn is also part of the cast, portraying the old-age Monroe.

While the news of Dakota Johnson's short film was announced on July 27, 2026, by Genesis Motor, the fans of the Materialists star couldn't be more thrilled as they took to social media to share their thoughts on her brand new upcoming project.
