We finally got our first glimpse at the duo of John Cena and Eric André as they join up for Little Brother, and it's all chaos and giggles. The premise here is simple: a high achieving older brother's life is crashed by his eccentric younger brother turning his orderly life into one full of stressful. The trailer is chaotic, funny, and immediately sells the dynamic between the two leads.

In the trailer, Cena's character makes his feelings about the situation pretty clear pretty fast. He mutters "he's not my actual brother" and follows it up with "the timing on this couldn't be worse." And anyone who has seen even thirty seconds of Eric André doing anything would understand that reaction completely. Marcus immediately starts dismantling the tidy world Rudd has spent years building, and Cena's increasingly exasperated reactions are hilarious.

In a chat with Extra, Cena spoke about how funny the film is as he stated,

“They’re only going to show the seconds that I wasn’t laughing. I honestly think we play off each other very well. He has an incredible sense of humor, and I’m a decent sounding board for that.”

The trailer opens on a surprisingly emotional beat, as Rudd believes his brother has just been in a devastating car accident, and the moment you think things are serious, you start laughing. André is in a neck cast most of the trailer, and that only adds to the absolute hilarity around.

The cast of the film is stcked, including Michelle Monaghan, Christopher Meloni, Ego Nwodim, Sherry Cola, Caleb Hearon, Ben Ahlers, Bryce Gheisar, and Pilot Bunch. The film is directed by Matt Spicer and written by Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel, with David Bernad and Ruben Fleischer producing for Netflix, which is a strong creative team.

An official synopsis of the film reads,

Little Brother revolves around a famous real estate agent (Cena) whose carefully curated world is upended when his eccentric “little brother” (André) unexpectedly reappears in his life. Witness the chaos yourself with the new images.

Little Brother is set to hit Netflix on June 26 and from everything we saw in the trailer, this has the energy of something that could genuinely catch on. Cena grounding the chaos and André supplying all of it is a combination that just makes sense. If the finished film delivers even half of what the trailer promises, it's going to be a very good June for Netflix.
