Meg Stalter arrived at the 2026 Emmy Awards looking ready to take home a trophy, even before the ceremony began.

The Hacks actress was inspired by the famous Emmy statuette and appeared on the red carpet event that took place on Monday, Sept. 14 in the form of a life-sized replica of the TV award.

Stalter donned a gold metallic dress that entirely enveloped her body. She wore a coordinated two-piece dress, along with a winged sculpture and golden sphere placed above her head.

The dramatic accessories recreated the familiar shape of the Emmy statuette, which features a winged woman holding a globe above her head.

The Television Academy highlighted Stalter's outfit on social media, sharing photos of the actress alongside her Hacks co-star Paul W. Downs.

Her playful fashion choice brought the Emmy theme directly onto the red carpet, with Meg Stalter essentially turning herself into the award many television stars hope to take home at the end of the night.

How Meg Stalter learned about her 2026 Emmys nomination

Meanwhile, amid Meg Stalter’s 2026 Emmys moment, the comedienne is celebrating her first-ever individual nomination from the awards ceremony.

She earned a nod for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series for her portrayal of the confident and frequently chaotic talent manager assistant Kayla Schaeffer in Hacks.

Downs, her co-star, was the one who broke the news to her. Per the celebrity, she didn’t immediately believe him when he phoned her.

"I called her. She didn't pick up. I texted her. I was like, 'Meg, call me.' And she was like, 'What?' And I was like, 'The Emmys.' She didn't even know the announcement was happening that day.”

He continued:

"That's very on brand, though. It was so Jimmy Kayla ... I'm so happy that she was recognized, because she is so special and so funny."

Whether Stalter ultimately leaves the 2026 Emmys with an actual statuette, she arrived already dressed as one.

This isn’t the first time Meg Stalter has done the unconventional on the red carpet.

At the 2026 Critics' Choice Awards in January, the actress and her Hacks co-star graced the red carpet, channeling Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s Marty Supreme Los Angeles premiere looks.

The duo, much like the celebrity couple, clothed themselves in orange leather from head to toe.

Meg Stalter, like the reality star, dressed in a floor-length orange leather gown with triangular slits across her waist and back. She also painted her nails solid orange and completed her look with equally orange footwear.

Her red carpet partner, on the other hand, emulated the actor’s orange leather suit from head to toe, as well as his equally vivid orange boots.
