Online streamer Maxwell Elliot Dent, also known as PlaqueBoyMax, reacted to Kanye West’s latest album, Bully, during a live streaming session. As he began the stream, he said that he had been getting good reviews of the album and hoped that this might be “fire.” As the stream almost came to an end, he said:

“Bully, I'm not going to lie. Amazing album right now. I say it's my favorite project that we reacted to so far this year. I'm not going to lie. So shoutout to Kanye man for coming back and giving us some great music.”

The first song that PlaqueBoyMax played was King. As he vibed to the music, he paused it and said that his first girlfriend was white and Hispanic. He mentioned:

“That's just how it happens sometimes though, chat. No cap. First official girlfriend. We don't count middle school, bro. We don't count middle school. You feel me? My first girlfriend for real in middle school, she was you brownkinned queen, adopted.”

He also said that he had forgiven Kanye West. According to him, his theory was that West was never “mad” and only pretended to be outraged on the internet. PlaqueBoyMax also played the music video and initially thought that Kanye West’s wife might have directed it. However, he then realized that it was AI-generated.

Max said that the song ALL THE LOVE was not the best song on the album, but he called it “fire.”

Here’s how PlaqueBoyMax reacted to some of the other songs from Kanye West’s Bully

As he played Whatever Works, PlaqueBoyMax said that he did not expect the music to be this good. While listening to the other songs from Kanye West’s album, the streamer said he thought the project was one of the best of the year, even though he hadn’t finished it yet.

He felt the music was put together carefully and that a lot of time and effort had gone into it. When he played Bully, he said Kanye West’s way of thinking about music was unique and not normal, and he felt it was something special that stood out. As he played Circles, PlaqueBoyMax said:

“This is genius. Ni**a, the song is titled Circles, ni**a. He's going in circles. How do ni**as not understand that? It's genius. But yeah. Nah as a song though, I understand what y'all saying.”

While playing Preacher Man, PlaqueBoyMax said he had heard the song before as he felt the beat was familiar. He then played Last Breath, about which he said that the song was really good.

He shared that he loved Spanish Caribbean music and felt inspired to travel there and maybe create a full project after his current work. He compared the vibe to something they had done in Atlanta and said the music had great energy that made people want to dance and feel happy.
