As per a recent article by US Weekly, Oliver Tree's body was reported back to United States after his demise in Brazil.The news was confirmed via an Instagram post which was posted on the late artist instagram account on June 21. This was the first post after Oliver's death. He died on June 14 while travelling in Rio de Jeniero at the age of 32."Oliver is now back in California where he can finally rest,” read the Instagram post. Additionally, the post honored Tree with a carousel of images and a prose piece. Oliver Tree Nickell, who lived from June 29, 1993, until June 14, 2026, may rest in peace. The post started, "Your legacy will live on forever." "I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has reached out, expressed love, offered support, and created amazing tributes for Oliver. The family, friends, and collaborators are surviving these incredibly trying times thanks to the unwavering love, support, and optimism.According to the post, Tree will soon have a foundation founded in his honor: "His legacy will live on through his foundation/endowment named Dr. Oliver Tree's Extremely Epic Grant For Baby Geniuses. Oliver assembled this and included it in his testament prior to his death. His last wish was to promote joy, love, and art throughout the world, and we will see to it that it is fulfilled."Love you all so much, Oliver would be so proud of every one of his supporters, friends, and family," the message said.
