Simone Ashley to star in A24's Peaked

Simone Ashley has joined the cast of the forthcoming comedy film Peaked. She is known for her role as Kate Bridgerton in Netflix's historical romance series Bridgerton. The makers have also announced other cast members for the film. This includes Laura Dern, Levon Hawke, Mitra Jouhari, Gabby Windey, Molly Gordon, Allie Levitan, and Emma Mackey. Peaked is about two girls who were bullies in high school. They have to face their classmates at a 10-year reunion. Gordon is producing the film with David Hinojosa and Zach Nutman. Allie Levitan is the executive producer.

“I have this awareness about how hard it is to get a movie made, or that you can be a lead in a movie and not get another job for years. It feels like this secret that I was let in on, but not everybody is. Moviemaking is a team sport, and if you don’t want to collaborate, then you should probably just go be a painter.”
