On October 4, President Trump announced the formation of ‘Super Intelligence Force,’ a few days after signing the White House accord. In the latest announcement, the POTUS highlighted the roles and responsibilities to be performed by SIF. Trump wrote:“Following the Historic White House Accord on Super Intelligence, where the World's most important Technology Companies came together, and confirmed their responsibilities to the American People, I am announcing the formation of the Super Intelligence Force (SIF).”The president wrote that Super Intelligence Force will work in coordination with the Federal Government to lead the country in SI. He even compared Super Intelligence with the Industrial Revolution and the Internet, saying:“The Super Intelligence Force is tasked with coordinating the effort of the Federal Government to ensure that America continues to lead the World in Super Intelligence, which many say is bigger than the Industrial Revolution, and the Internet, and will protect the interests, and improve the lives, of all Americans.”He went on to highlight that SIF will look after the coordination between the government and other groups like consumers, public interests, and religious groups. Trump wrote:“The Super Intelligence Force will coordinate the Federal Government's engagement with Consumers, Public Interest Groups, Religious Organizations, Critical Infrastructure Providers, and Super Intelligence Companies, and will be led by the Director of National Intelligence, Jay Clayton, the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission, Andrew Ferguson, the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering, and Chief Technology Officer, Emil Michael, and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, Scott Kupor, and will report to the President of the United States (ME!), and the Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles.”Trump recently changed AI to SIEarlier on September 29, the POTUS signed the accord alongside the tech moguls including Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Greg Brockman, Sundar Pichai, Dario Amodei, and Jensen Huang. The president changed the name of Artificial Intelligence to Super Intelligence claiming that the word ‘artificial’ made it sound fake. Trump first made the announcement for renaming AI during his speech at the UN.The tech moguls signed the latest accord to take measures for the safe use and development of AI. In his recent tweet, Elon Musk confirmed that he will change the name of his company, SpaceXAI, to SpaceXSI in line with the president’s order.
