On June 3, YouTuber Jesse Ridgway revealed that he and his wife aborted their pregnancy due to Trisomy 21, also called as Down Syndrome. The political commentator, Matt Walsh, gave his reaction to Jesse’s confession. The political commentator dubbed Jesse Ridgway’s decision as ‘serial killer logic.’“You cannot claim that you’re aborting your Down syndrome child because you don’t want him to “suffer.” First of all, killing a child so they don’t suffer is psychopath serial killer logic. You’re on the same moral plane as Andrea Yates.”Matt Walsh claimed that those with children with Down syndrome are the happiest people. He went on to refer to Jesse Ridgway as a ‘child killing sociopath.’“Second, children with Down syndrome are famously some of the happiest people you’ll ever meet in your life. They are not in fact living in a state of perpetual torment. So what’s really happening is that you’re killing your child so that YOU won’t suffer the inconvenience of caring for him. This is about freeing yourself of your own perceived suffering. If you’re going to be a child killing sociopath, at least be honest about it.”In another tweet, Matt Walsh called Jesse’s actions the ‘most evil thing.’What did Jesse Ridgway say about his wife’s abortion? In his recent X post, Jesse revealed his wife, Ashley’s, abortion due to a Down Syndrome diagnosis. He wrote:“This week, my wife and I made the very difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy due to Trisomy 21.”He added that his decision was not easy and thanked his fans for their support.“The choice was not made lightly. We really appreciate all of the personal stories that you guys shared with us, especially the unconditional support we received from fans with no matter what we decided.”Jesse Ridgway faced huge backlash after he shared the news online. Although many supported him, others sent hate for the content creator. Following this, Jesse Ridgway broke the silence in the latest post and called the online comments ‘deeply disturbing.’ He shared that he has been receiving multiple death threats.“The last 24 hours have exposed a side of humanity that is deeply disturbing. Being called “murderous pieces of shit, evil, compared to Hitler” and receiving NON-STOP DEATH THREATS.”Jesse married Ashley last year in October after their years of relationship.
