Savannah Chrisley is preparing for marriage and motherhood after announcing her engagement to businessman Jason Galanis and revealing they are expecting their first child together.

The Chrisley Knows Best alum, 29, shared the news in an episode of her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, released on Oct. 27.

She had first revealed she was in a relationship in May 2026 but kept her boyfriend's identity private, affectionately referring to him as her “mystery man.”

She also said:

"There is a huge age gap there, probably part of the reason why I kept a lot of it quiet, because I know how brutal the public can be."

In the episode, she continued:

"The age difference—so what? I don't care. He does not look his age, nor does he act his age. His body is great. His mind is even sharper."

Savannah Chrisley eventually revealed his first name as Jason while announcing the couple's engagement and pregnancy.

Later, People identified her fiancé as Jason Galanis, 56, a businessman previously convicted of fraud who served time in federal prison before President Donald Trump commuted his sentence in March 2025.

The couple's relationship began after Jason Galanis contacted Chrisley in June 2025 to praise her public advocacy following Trump's commutation of her parents' prison sentences.

Although Savannah Chrisley took more than a week to respond, the two developed a connection through Washington, D.C.'s political circles.

Their friendship eventually became romantic, and they began dating that July. The couple later vacationed in the Cayman Islands, keeping Jason Galanis' identity out of the public eye.

Five months into their relationship, Jason Galanis reportedly arranged a secret proposal with help from one of Savannah Chrisley's friends. During a day trip to Little Cayman, he prepared flowers and champagne and presented her with a custom ring from Genovese Jewelers.

Savannah Chrisley had previously described her relationship as her “healthiest relationship” yet, explaining her decision to keep her partner's identity private because he was not a public figure.

In an Instagram post accompanying the announcement, she reflected on the difficult years she had endured before finding love.

“The past few years have taken me through fires I never imagined I’d have to walk through. [...] I wondered if I would ever find my forever [...] and then God sent me J. And just when I thought my heart couldn’t hold any more love, God gave us our sweetest blessing yet … we’re having a BABY!”

What happened to Savannah Chrisley’s parents, Todd and Julie?

Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of federal bank fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy in June 2022 and sentenced to prison (12 years for Todd and 7 years for Julie), reporting to jail in January 2023.

After serving part of their sentences and pursuing appeals, Todd and Julie received a presidential pardon in May 2025 and were released.

Around this time, Savannah Chrisley received a message from Jason Galanis, who congratulated her on her political and public advocacy work to secure pardons for her parents.

Meanwhile, the businessman also garnered attention in 2025 when his 14-year sentence for his involvement in two major frauds was commuted by the president.

Indeed, it was the similarities between Jason Galanis' case and that of Chrisley's parents, who were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion in 2022, that brought the two together.

In her podcast, the influencer credited the “political world” for bringing them together. She also shared a glimpse of Galanis' proposal.

“That proposal was just right. It was everything. I would not trade that moment for anything in the entire world because it was us."
