In a shocking new update in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case. The FBI has zeroed in on who was recorded five miles away from Guthrie's house carrying the same bag that, according to them, the apparent kidnapper is carrying as well.

The backpack that the man had is similar to the kidnapper's when he approached Nancy's door, as it has the same reflective straps. The man was not only wearing a backpack but also carrying one at the time of the incident.

In a chilling revelation, TMZ has also received another email from the person who is claiming to know the identity of the kidnapper. In the first email on Wednesday, they asked for a single bitcoin, which is worth $65,000, to reveal the identity. However, since it was not deposited, they sent the second mail stating, "I am not being taken seriously." They also stated the reason for the money is to be able to lay low after identifying the kidnapper, and that this is the last attempt at helping the law.


Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping

84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, the mother of the “Today” show anchor Savannah Guthrie, was kidnapped from her home in Catalina Foothills, Arizona, on 1st February. According to the evidence at the home and the sheriff of Pima County, it was deduced that she was abducted.

Savanah released a heartbreaking statement on Instagram, saying,

"She was taken, and we don't know where, and we need your help. So I'm coming on just to ask you ... no matter where you are ... if you see anything, if you hear anything, if there's anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement."

The case has a lot of mysteries surrounding it, and as of 10th February, no proof of life has been shared by the abductor.
