On September 27, Katie Miller reacted to the reports stating that Cindy Crawford’s son Presley Gerber died after he entered a luxury sober home. The podcaster in her new post criticized sober living facilities and called them a ‘scam.’ She so labeled them as ‘overpriced’ homes that take money from rich people without any guarantee of the patient’s recovery. Katie Miller wrote:“Sober living facilities are a scam. Overpriced homes that have repeat patients time and again. They over-bill the government and take money from rich clients with no promise of actual recovery.”Presley Gerber reportedly died on September 20 at a Santa Monica rehab facility. As per recent reports, Kaia Gerber’s brother checked into the sober home on September 19 and he was under the influence at the time he reached there. Few hours after his check-in, Presley was found unresponsive in his room.Presley Gerber died at the age of 27Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s son passed away at the early age of 27. The late fashion model reportedly died due to suspected overdose as authorities saw no signs of foul play. In their statement, Presley’s family asked for privacy after his death.“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” Presley’s family said.Like his mother, Presley Gerber also stepped into modeling and made his runway debut at the young age of 16. Throughout his career, Presley worked as a model for several major fashion labels like D&G, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, and more.Presley has been vocal about his mental health. Earlier in November last year, he shared a post on his Instagram saying that he stepped away from social media to take care of his mental health. In his post he wrote:“It's been a minute since l've posted. I had to step back and take care of my own mental health for a bit. But I'm coming back soon, stronger, clearer, more intentional than ever.”Presley Gerber also started his video series, Mental Health Mondays, to create more awareness about anxiety, addiction, and related problems. I'm proud that something I created has inspired others and started a bigger movement around openness and healing.”As of this writing, Presley’s official cause of death remains unconfirmed by the authorities. On September 25, TMZ reported that Cindy Crawford’s son was cremated at Rose Family Funeral Home days after his passing.
