Following Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's win in the 2026 Brazilian presidential election against Flávio Bolsonaro, several world leaders and renowned public figures have come forward to congratulate him and celebrate his victory as he secured a fourth nonconsecutive term, according to Al Jazeera.

As the citizens of Brazil and several other world leaders, politicians, and prominent public figures celebrate Lula da Silva's victory in the 2026 presidential election, the reality TV star-turned-producer Spencer Pratt took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle on October 26, 2026, and called out billionaire investor George Soros' son Alex Soros, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and Oscar-nominated actor Mark Ruffalo for being fixated on Brazil.

Married to television personality-turned-singer Heidi Montag, The Hills alum Spencer Pratt began his X post by questioning why people were worried about a foreign election, which meant Brazil's presidential election, and called out Soros, Newsom, and the Shutter Island actor, whom he called "Midlife" Mark Ruffalo. Spencer Pratt, in his X post, wrote:

"Why is everyone suddenly so obsessed with some foreign election? How come you don’t see every single establishment tool join a coordinated chorus on elections in any other country, but suddenly everyone from Alex Soros to Gavin Newsom to Midlife Mark Ruffalo are all fixated on Brazil?"
