Adam Brody is speaking publicly about his views on the Israel-Gaza conflict after previously discussing the issue mostly in private.The Nobody Wants This star addressed the subject in a new interview with GQ while discussing the decline in celebrity political activism.According to Adam Brody, he had talked about Israel and Gaza privately before. However, when asked if he wished to speak about it, he made his position clear.“Put me down as thinking it’s a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine.”Adam Brody said he was troubled by the amount of death and suffering connected to the conflict and expressed hope for changes in U.S. policy.“It's awful that it's taken so much death and misery, but it does feel like it's reaching a breaking point that it should have a while ago. It woke everyone. There was so much activism. People were running for office that had never [run] before. It was so awful to watch him defile our government, our country, our reputation, and really pit people against each other. I felt like most of the country right away was really against it.”He also said he has noticed Hollywood becoming more openly conservative, attributing the shift in part to people being drawn toward groups with greater political influence.“I guess outspokenly so, yes. Again, as one side has more power, it makes sense that it draws people to it for all the human reasons that would be attractive: groupthink, your own well-being, your own money and success.”Despite these changes, Adam Brody said he feels renewed energy surrounding political organizing ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.His latest comments mark a more public discussion of his views on Israel and Gaza after he previously kept much of his advocacy on the subject private.Adam Brody continues to balance his political involvement with his acting career, including his role as Noah Roklov on Netflix’s Nobody Wants This.
