The final trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been released, and it revealed that Spider-Man has yet another new power. The final trailer takes us through Spider-Man/Peter Parker's journey from the beginning till now and gives us more footage of the highly anticipated Hulk vs Spider-Man fight.While earlier trailers and leaks had revealed that Spider-Man will have organic webs in the upcoming film, the final trailer has revealed that the Marvel hero's skin will be mutating too.Peter Parker's new skin mutation in Spider-Man: Brand New Day Almost towards the end of the final Spider-Man Brand New Day trailer, we see the head of the Department of Damage Control, Bill Metzger (played by Tramell Tillman), tell Spider-Man how he's the only one who can defeat the new threat looming over New York City. After that, we see Spider-Man fighting The Hand, which earlier trailers had also shown. However, in the new Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer, Spider-Man doesn't just fight The Hand with his webs, high speed, and strength; he also fights them with a new skin mutation. In the trailer, we see The Hand attack Spider-Man with shurikens, katanas, and electric batons. When he is hit by the electric batons, Spider-Man surprisingly blocks them, and they don't affect him at all. We see him block the electricity of the batons with just his arms, something we have never seen him do before. Earlier trailers have shown that Peter's body will be mutating and he will be approaching Dr. Bruce Banner for help. Leaks from the film had suggested that Spider-Man would be developing organic webs, like the webs emitted by Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. But the new trailer now reveals that Peter's skin will be mutating as well. Something in his skin will help him block electricity (and perhaps much more?), and that is going to help him immensely, as the trailer shows. With new organic webs and the ability to block electricity, Spider-Man might just save New York City and the woman he loves. We see Spider-Man walk into what looks like Dr. Banner's lab and witness him turning into the Hulk. When he hesitantly asks, "Dr. Banner?"the Hulk says,"No Hulk. Only Banner."The Hulk then lunges at Spider-Man, and we see them fighting against a building as they free fall. Another interesting thing the trailer reveals is that the Scorpion might not be the Scorpion we know. At one point in the trailer, we see Spider-Man asking Scorpion,"You sure you want to do this Scorpion?"In response, the Scorpion says, "You think I'm Scorpion?"Thus, while this villain looks, acts, and talks like the Scorpion (played by Michael Mando), he might be a manipulation of the new villain we're about to see in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. But it is yet to be known who this new villain is and why they are playing such tricks.Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in theaters on July 31, 2026.
