On November 3, Marjorie Taylor Greene reacted after Trump announced his plan to end annual aid of around $4 billion for Israel amid midterm elections. Earlier in the day, POTUS joined the Fox & Friends show to deliver his final election-day message before voting. The former Congresswoman criticized the president for making the announcement just before voting began. She dubbed Trump’s plan a “last-ditch effort” to impress the public. In her X post, Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote:“Trump makes a last-ditch effort claiming he will end $4 billion per year aid to Israel only bc he knows Republicans are going to get slaughtered today in the elections.”MTG recalled how her attempt to stop Israel funding through an amendment failed last year. She added:“Last year, my amendment to cut aid to Israel only received 6 votes in the House bc all the AIPAC-funded Congressmen refused to stop funding Israel even though Israel is so rich they have state-funded healthcare and college while Americans financially suffer!”Marjorie Taylor Greene asserted that Republicans are going to lose the midterm elections because Trump prioritized Israel over America.“One of the big reasons Republicans are going to lose today is because Trump promised to make America great again and delivered Israel First instead,” MTG wrote.Lastly, MTG claimed that Trump’s announcement was “too little too late” as most of Congress is heavily funded by AIPAC.“Most Democrats, including the very likely incoming Democrat Speaker of the House, Hakeem Jeffries, are heavily funded by AIPAC too. Most of Congress is on both sides! Trump’s announcement today is too little too late!!!”Marjorie Taylor Greene said Republicans and Trump had changed their minds amid fear of losing the midtermsIn another tweet, MTG said that she was labeled an “antisemite” after she tried to stop Israel’s funding. She wrote:“Last year when my amendment to strip funding to Israel failed in the House bc only 6 members of Congress, including myself, voted for it, I was labeled an antisemite.”A former GOP lawmaker targeted Republicans for changing their 'hearts' and 'minds' when the party was about to lose in the midterms. Marjorie wrote:“Amazing how being on the verge of Republicans getting wiped out in the midterms changes hearts and minds.”Lastly, Marjorie Taylor Greene said that the Israel-Gaza war is not going to end with the midterms.“Nor is it going to end the war with Iran or stop Israel from murdering innocent Palestinians. But it does show you how bad the polling is on that issue.”In related news, Trump also joked about moving to Israel and becoming its PM during his Fox & Friends interview. POTUS claimed that he is popular in the country.
