TV personality Jill Zarin has recently made headlines for her comments about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime performance. She claimed in a now-deleted video on Instagram that the performance was inappropriate, as it was in Spanish. Zarin also argued that there was vulgarity in certain gestures Bad Bunny made. Jill Zarin was previously married to Bobby Zarin, who died in 2018.Amidst all this, a certain Reddit user claimed to be Bobby’s step-grandson and was willing to answer questions people had about their family. One Reddit user (@anrowland0612) said that it was “crazy” that Jill Zarin wanted to have a camera crew during Bobby’s funeral. The alleged grandson (@DysgraphicZ) replied:“THANK YOU FOR SAYING THAT. My uncle and aunt were literally in the funeral home when Jill told them she invited bravo to film the funeral. THEY WERE IN THE FUNERAL HOME, PLANNING THE FUNERAL. My dad and his beother and sister didn't know what to say. She was the wife and like they felt like they couldn't do anything.”The user also said:“They were so disgusted. And by the way, years later, and Bethany said something to the effect of like "oh I'm glad jill told me the bravo cameras jjst showed up. I thought she invited them and that was disgusting" jill lied to her lol.”According to a report by People Magazine from 2023, TV personality Bethenny Frankel claimed that it was Andy Cohen who was to be blamed for cameras being present during Bobby’s funeral.Bethenny Frankel claimed that Jill Zarin initially wanted cameras to be present during the funeralWhile speaking to Jill Zarin on the Just B with Bethenny Frankel in 2023, Frankel remembered that she was in a salon when Andy Cohen called her and informed her that Bobby had died. Andy Cohen told Bethenny that when Bobby was not doing well, Jill told Cohen that she wanted the funeral to be filmed.Jill said that although this was what she wanted, she was not happy about how it eventually turned out to be. Bethenny Frankel then recalled:“But then he said, 'Jill said you can bring the cameras to the funeral.' That's what he said to me.”According to Page Six, Jill also claimed that she had no idea that the funeral was being filmed to be televised on RHONY. Moreover, Bethenny claimed that it was “disgusting” that the Bravo people did not seek Jill Zarin’s permission to do the release. She said during her podcast:“That’s literally the most disgusting thing I’ve ever heard. That’s just disgusting. It’s embarrassing … it’s really disgusting, it’s absolutely disgusting, that’s disgusting, and I apologize, because it was a spectacle and a circus and yes the lines are blurred.”Jill Zarin said that she was in touch with Bravo for covering certain parts of the funeral, but she realized that moments from the funeral were also used to promote the show.
