Looking back on the yesteryears of the show, Al Roker said:

“I think that’s the beauty of the broadcast is that the mission over these 74 years has not changed. The way we bring it to you may have, and look, the fact of the matter is we are each temporary custodians of this legacy … at some point I won’t be part of the show, somebody else will be, but to be part of a pretty cool club is very special.”

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Al Roker has a net worth of $70 million. The outlet mentions that his salary at NBC is $10 million. How many years did Al Roker spend at NBC?

On the January 27 episode of the show, Al Roker said that his work family meant a lot to him. He also remembered his parents, saying that he wouldn’t be in this position in life without their support. Roker went on to say:

“This has just been an honor. And to say it's a dream is not even close because I never imagined anything like this and to be with the people like that I get to work with every day.”

Speaking about his colleagues, he said:

“People say, ‘Oh, we treat you like family,’ usually you want to run in the opposite direction, but you guys, you know, and again that you when I was sick and you guys all came to sing, you know that I hadn't cried the whole time and then I lost it there because of what you all mean to me.”

While speaking to Jenna and Sheinelle on their show, Al Roker said that when he first found out that he had completed 30 years, he couldn’t believe it. He also revealed that he spent 47 years with NBC. Roker said:

Al Roker said that Deborah began working with ABC before they tied the knot. He mentioned that it is difficult to find someone who gets the profession, but Deborah always understood it.
