As per a recent news report by People, Charlotte Jorgensen, professional dancer participant of Dancing With the Stars season one, revealed that she is a surivivor of the Air Canada plane crash.

Jorgensen took to Instagram and opened up about her horrific experience. She mentioned that she boarded the flight after a happy weekend in Montreal and gave an elaborate account of her experience.

Currently, Charlotte has made an announcement of joining the New York American Smooth Camp via an Instagram post. Before that, Charlotte Jorgensen also taught at the Brooklyn Dancesport Club, Los Angeles.

About Charlotte Jorgensen's post on Air Canada crash

Around a week ago on March 22, an Air Canada passenger jet (numbered 8546) crashed into a firetruck at the LaGuardia Airport at New York. The captain of the plane Antoine Forest along with first officer Mackenzie Gunther passed away due to the crash.

On March 31, proffessional dancer Charlotte Jorgensen took to her Instagram account and mentioned she was amongst one the survivors.

Jorgensen stated at the start of her essay that she had a "fabulous weekend in Montreal" before boarding Air Canada flight.

She stated that she owes her life to Forest and Gunther, "two brave souls," after pointing out that most people have undoubtedly heard about the tragedy by now.

"They made the ultimate sacrifice so that we all could live…. I am indebted to them and my thoughts are with their families," she said.
Even though Jorgensen said that she "felt nothing as adrenaline was rushing through my body" the night of the incident, things have altered with time. Physically, intellectually, and emotionally, the days following have been difficult," she stated.

Charlotte Jorgensen stated that although she is receiving attention from loved ones at home, she "will be taking time to heal." She wrote, "I am thankful for all the love I have received and I send you all an extra warm hug."

In closing, the dancer thanked her Dancing with the Stars "family for their "care and concern."

The CRJ-900 aircraft had 72 passengers and four crew members. Two officers on the firetruck, which was responding to allegations of an unidentified odor in the cockpit of another jet at the time of the crash, and 39 passengers aboard the aircraft were sent to a hospital.

Most of them have now been made public.
