According to a recent report by US Weekly, Baywatch actress Carmen Electra revealed the reason of her split with ex-husband Dennis Rodman.

During the May 26th episode of the popular podcast Legally Golf, Carmen Electra spoke about her marriage crumbling within six months and that it had become difficult for her to keep up with Rodman and his friends.

"It was just too hard to continue to keep up with him and his friends. It was constant drinking", revealed Electra on the podcast

Rodman was "so loving, and then he's wild and he's drinking," according to Electra's account of their tumultuous lifestyle. (Rodman has entered treatment programs several times and has been candid about his battle with alcohol throughout the years.)

Regarding the last days of her marriage to Rodman, Electra remarked, "I was at home, looking at myself in the mirror, and I didn't recognize myself." "I had bags under my eyes." My face was swollen. I'm in my twenties! "It has to stop," I thought. It must end.

Around that time, Electra received a self-help book from a friend and came to the conclusion that it was better for her to go on with her life.

She asked herself, "I've got to get away from him because what good is going to come out of this?" "It was true love." It wasn't a fictional tale. It wasn't a publicity gimmick. It was genuine love.

"It's sad but it had to end," she continued.

After their breakup, Electra stated that "there were times" when Rodman showed her a more sensitive side by "being really sweet and cute and cry[ing]."

She acknowledged, "[He'd] want me back." "I would simply return everything he gave me, not everything. When we were together, I kept the items he gave me, but after that, I returned everything. It was challenging.

The former Baywatch star claimed that in order to firmly distance herself from Rodman, she eventually had to "move and change my number."

She claimed, "He would just come to my house and not leave." He would make threats to strip off outside once more. All I wanted was for the police to stay away. It didn't want it to become a major event.
