Leon Thomas shared an Instagram story, informing his fans that he won’t be joining Bruno Mars’ concert at Rogers Stadium on May 30. The Breaking Point singer wrote that he is sick, therefore, he would rest and take care of himself. With his story, he also sent his wishes to Bruno Mars and DJ Pee. Wee for their performances. Leon Thomas wrote:

“HEY Y'ALL! THERE'S NOTHING MORE I LOVE DOING THAN SEEING YOU GUYS OUT ON THE ROAD, BUT TONIGHT I WILL NOT BE PERFORMING DUE TO BEING SICK. I WANT TO PUT ON A SHOW THAT'S THE BEST FOR YOU ALL AND RESTING AND TAKING CARE OF MYSELF IS THE BEST WAY TO DO IT. APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT ALONG THE WAY AND SHOUT OUT TO MY BIG BROS PEE WEE AND BRUNO FOR CONTINUING TO HOLD IT DOWN.”

For those unaware. Bruno Mars is touring across different countries to celebrate his new album, The Romantic, with his eponymous tour.

Besides, Toronto’s Rogers Stadium shared news about Leon Thomas’ illness on their social media. The notice read:

“Unfortunately due to illness Leon Thomas will be unable to perform tonight at Rogers Stadium.”

Bruno Mars’ Rogers Stadium concert was postponed recently

Last week, on May 23, the Grenade singer’s Rogers Stadium concert was postponed to May 31, due to bad weather conditions. Bruno shared an update on his social media. He wrote:

“I never want this but I need everyone to be safe in order to have a good time. I’ll make it up to you Toronto on the 31st. I promise! love, Rice Man”

On January 8, the Just The Way You Are maker revealed the dates and venues for his The Romantic Tour. After that, the artist started his tour on April 10 in Las Vegas. So far, Bruno Mars has performed in various cities across North America, including Arlington, Charlotte, Houston, Chicago, Nashville, Minneapolis, Atlanta, and others.

After Toronto, Mars will travel to Europe, starting with Paris on June 20. Other European cities on his itinerary include Berlin, Madrid, Amsterdam, Milan, and London.
