What did Maya Hawke and Christian Lee Hutson wear for their wedding on Valentine’s Day? Outfit details explored

Stranger Things actress Maya Hawke tied the knot with fellow singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson in an intimate Valentine's Day wedding.

The pair, who first met years ago while recording music and have since collaborated together quite a few times, got married at St. George’s Episcopal Church in New York City in a surprise ceremony, according to a report in Page Six.

Following her usual simple yet chic style, the actress opted for a minimalistic white sleeveless gown with a boat neck and an oversized skirt. She added a simple tulle veil and white satin finish pointed toe heels to finish the look. Christian went for a more understated look with a classic tuxedo.

The affair, though small, was star-studded with Maya Hawke's parents, Ethan Hawke, dressed in a dapper black tux, and Uma Thurman, wearing a floral powder blue dress, in attendance, along with Stranger Things co-stars Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery.

The former couple's song and Hawke's brother, Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, was also there to support his sister. According to Page Six reports, after the wedding, the party celebrated the event at Manhattan’s The Players Members Club.

Though the pair knew each other for a while and mostly kept the relationship private, they finally made their relationship red carpet official at the opening night of the Broadway show John Proctor is the Villain in April 2025, which took place at NYC’s Booth Theater.

In a 2024 Variety interview, Maya Hawke revealed,

“[Hutson] has been so encouraging to me as a musician, helping me to make the transition from being a poet in a band to sort of being a musician,”

Christian was also featured on Maya's 2024 album, Chaos Angel. He has also released 3 albums co-produced by Phoebe Bridgers. Maya and Christian were friends for 4 years before romance bloomed between the two. While appearing on the Zach Sang Show in June 2024, she spoke about what it is like to date a friend.
