What is the name of Kaley Cuoco's second daughter? Details explored after she welcomes baby girl with fiance Tom Pelphrey

Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey welcomed their second child on Monday, October 12. The Role Play actress shared multiple posts and stories on Instagram on Wednesday, announcing their daughter's birth.

The couple were first linked together in 2022 and confirmed it in May that year. In March 2023, they welcomed their first daughter, Matilda. They got engaged the following year and have been planning their wedding. Kaley Cuoco announced earlier this year that she is pregnant with her and Tom Pelphrey's second child.

On Wednesday, Cuoco shared some pictures of themselves and their newborn daughter in the hospital on Instagram. She revealed that the girl has been named Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey. She further wrote in the caption:

"There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing . We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo! Family officially complete 😭Time to bring Matilda’s baby home! 😂💕 @tommypelphrey life exploded the minute we met, and the gifts keep coming. I love you forever , girl daddy! 💘"

Many of her former The Big Bang Theory colleagues, like Kunal Nayyar, Wil Wheaton, Simon Helberg, and Melissa Rauch, congratulated her in the comments.

Meanwhile, Tom Pelphrey also shared a few pictures on his Instagram account and wrote in the caption:

"Another miracle. Welcome to our family youngest queen! Kaley you showed up in every way as a partner and a mom even when you weren’t feeling your best- you’re a CHAMPION. The girls and I would be lost without you. ♥️ Thank God for the gift of this family and these girls 🙏🙏🙏"

The couple also shared images of Matilda wearing a T-shirt that said "big sister" on their Instagram stories.

Tom Pelphrey revealed last month that he and Kaley Cuoco had decided on a name for their daughter

Tom Pelphrey won the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the 2026 Emmy Awards for his role as Robbie Prendergast in Task. During his appearance at the ceremony in September, he spoke to E! News about how he and Kaley Cuoco were preparing for their baby. He said:

“We’re both so excited. Our daughter’s excited. We’ll see how it goes when it actually gets there."

He said that they were “switching rooms, swapping things around, and laughing at how different it is from one to two.” The Ozark actor added:

“The things that are new and the things that feel like not a big deal this time. But mom and baby are healthy, so God willing, that keeps up, and we’re thrilled."

When the host asked if they had decided on a name, Pelphrey said:

“We have one maybe. We always leave open the possibility that she’ll sort of declare herself, so we’ll see.”

Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey met through their mutual agent, Andrea Pett-Joseph, at the premiere of Ozark in 2022. They made their relationship official on Instagram in May that year and got engaged in 2024. They have been planning a wedding as well, amid the birth of their second daughter.
