According to AllHipHop, Lil Durk has new allegations of racketeering-related charges added to his case including racketeering murder charges.The latest indictment filed on June 4, introduces a new allegation involving the January 2022 killing of "rival gang member" Quando Rondo in Chicago. Lil Durk has been acused of acting as a leader of a Chicago street gang and offering a reward led to the killing. As per the filing, obtained by Rolling Stone, Banks had allegedly brought $1 million in cash to a music studio after Rondo was shot. An alleged co-conspirator later took to social media to show off "his monetary reward."The new indictment also accuses of Durk of being involved in attempted murder in Atlanta in February 2019. Banks lawyers in a statement shared with Rolling Stone defended the rapper, and denied the new allegations,"This indictment is lipstick on a pig. For nearly two years now, federal prosecutors have desperately tried to fend off challenges to a very weak case."The statement continued,"Now, just two months before trial - a trial that Durk Banks has demanded at every turn - they pull this pathetic pivot, recycling old accusations into a scrambling prosecutor's back-up plan: allege racketeering and as many unrelated false claims as possible."In Febraury, 2026, U.S District Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald had postponed the trial date to August 20, 2026. The move came after a California judge had earlier moved the date to May 4, instead of January 20. The decision came after several co-defendants argued that they wanted their cases split from Durk. Durk has been behind bars since his arrest in October, 2024. Durk has remained in custody since then and has been denied bail.
