Shiloh and Bros actor Cole Harris, who also ran his own YouTube channel Fantation featuring comedy sketches and gaming content, has made multiple headlines recently. The nineteen-year-old passed away on June 1, 2026, following a battle with Glioma, a type of brain cancer he had been diagnosed with back in December 2024.

As per a fundraiser shared on Give Send Go, Cole Harris had already shown remarkable selflessness before his own diagnosis. He had donated bone marrow to his sister while she was fighting leukemia.

"Even before his own battle, Cole showed what true selflessness looks like when he donated bone marrow to help save his sister during her fight with leukemia. That alone tells you everything you need to know about the kind of young man he is," the fundraiser noted.

Cole's mother posted an update to the page the next day.

"Early this morning, God called our beautiful boy, Cole, home. Although his time felt so incredibly short, we are grateful for every single moment we got to love him. We thank God for the gift of Cole's life. We're so thankful we got the privilege of being his parents," she wrote.
"Thank you all for the love and support for Cole and the rest of our family," she added.

Cole Harris opens up about trading soccer for the stage, and the day his sister needed him most:

Back in April 2025, News Channel 5 previously sat down with Cole Harris and he opened up in detail about his journey into acting and even shared about his younger sister's illness. Cole Harris was around ten years old when he realised soccer was simply not for him. The interview touched on the moment it clicked for him, and Cole Harris shared that

"When I was about 10 years old, I was on my way to an indoor soccer match and I just looked at my mom and I was like, 'mom – I hate soccer!'"

Leah Miller, the theater teacher at Station Camp High School, also spoke about the kind of performer Cole Harris had turned out to be, adding that

"He likes to take on every single role. Not even just the acting parts. He loves to direct, he wants to do publicity, he loves to write."

Cole Harris also expanded on the difficult period which involved his younger sister Meredith, who was diagnosed with leukemia back in 2020, a situation which left her in need of a bone marrow transplant. Cole Harris was twelve years old at the time.

"My sister got leukemia when I was 12," he shared.

As per the interview, Cole Harris turned out to be the closest match. When asked about his decision, Cole Harris replied

"I was the closest match when they asked me to do it. I didn't think – for a second because – why would I?"

Cole Harris then addressed the idea of bravery around his decision, sharing that

"I don't think there's any – strength or courage that comes with that. It's just like – you have to! It's family."

Meredith is now in her early teens.

Cole's father Frankie spoke out on his son's deteriorating health and the community that showed up for his family:

As per a report shared by News Channel 5 back in March 2026, Cole had continued battling the tumor. The surgeries had taken a toll on the right side of his body, affecting both his movement and his speech. Frankie Harris, Cole's dad, spoke about where things stood, sharing that

"Movement with the right leg, right arm and speech, because of the part of the brain that's all been affected. We've kind of been recovering slowly."

Cole himself also addressed how the illness had been affecting him day to day.

"It's been more — hard. I wouldn't get out of bed," he said.

That being said, the news only got more difficult from there. As per the report, the family had received an MRI update on March 4th, and Frankie Harris shared that

"March 4th, we did a follow up MRI, and that did not look good. So our prognosis at that point is not great."

Around the same time, people from the Gallatin community gathered at the family's church for a prayer vigil held in Cole's honour. No performance, no production. Just people showing up. Frankie Harris spoke about what that night felt like, adding that

"It was kind of overwhelming. It was a lot. It was so much love, so many people. We had friends, family, strangers."

The Harris family had been navigating a difficult stretch for well over a year by that point. Frankie Harris spoke about how the family had been approaching the road ahead, and shared that

"We've had ups and downs over the last year and we're looking at this like this is another down and we'll get back up and keep going."
