Doja Cat wants Elon Musk to bring back voice tweets on X.X discontinued voice tweets in 2025 due to low user engagement, platform disparities and necessary resource allocation. The rapper took to X on June 3 to request X's owner Musk to reinstate the "audio post" feature.“Hey Elon if u see this please put the audio post feature back on here."Doja Cat's way of requesting caught user's attention when she slammed and called Musk's name in the same breath,"Thanks, u frog build looking bitch. Barrel chested ewok u look like u eat sand.”While the voice tweets feature has been disabled, users can still send voice memos over DMs. After disabling the feature, the billionaire launched Twitter Spaces, in December, 2020. Spaces is a live-audio conversation feature. Users can join multiple virtual rooms to engage an talk in real time. Doja Cat's interaction with Elon Musk exploredThis is not the first time Doja Cat has had a complaint with X, the rapper and singer had changed her Twitter screen name to Christmas in November, 2022. However since the Blue Tick subscription went live, the rapper was seemingly stuck with it as her screen name. After sharing the problem with fans, Doja requested Musk for help,"Why can't I change my name on here. How do I change it, also f**k you Elon."She then went on to add that she doesn't want to keep the name forever,"I don't wanna be Christmas forever please help I've made a mistake."Musk responded to the rapper to confirm that they're working on it while saying, "Pretty funny though."Cat then went on to tweet an audio complaining about the blue tick subscription service,You guys are paying $8 a month to come on here and go to war woth people who are not in agreement with who your favorite popstar is. You're paying $8 a month to come on here and say (stuff) like byeee."Doja Cat has had more issues with the social media platform before. In August, 2022, after having few heated exchanges with users on X, the rapper shared a screenshot that showed that she was no longer able to reply to tweets. In the screenshot, her draft folder showed several tweets with a "failure to send" alert. In the screenshot, users could view the tweets Doja had meant to share on the platform.
