Chris Long recently spoke out about people who didn't like Bad Bunny's Super Bowl LX halftime show. Megan Long's husband said the critics weren't telling the truth about why they had a problem with it. The former Philadelphia Eagles defensive end discussed this on the February 9 episode of his Green Light With Chris Long podcast."I've never seen so many white guys all the sudden act like they don't like big booty Latinas on TV," Chris Long said.He added his take on what the critics were saying."That is unbelievable, dude. All the sudden, 'Nah, I want to watch Brantley Gilbert. I don't like Latin Women. Bro, be real, dude," Long shared.Bad Bunny got picked to perform at the 2026 Super Bowl. Conservative politicians and figures didn't like the choice. They criticized the NFL for choosing an artist who performs most of his songs in Spanish. Bad Bunny has also been vocal against President Donald Trump's immigration policies in the past.Long spoke about the reaction to the halftime show."For my entire adult life I have never heard anybody give a f**k about the halftime show, usually that's when you go out on the porch, make yourself a sandwich. All of the sudden this year, people care about the halftime show. He praised multiple aspects of the performance."The set design was f***ing fantastic. The plants were people, there was a whole town in there. Somebody got married, somebody really got married. People were hanging out, Ricky Martin showed up, Lady Gaga was there, she was like 'I got your English song,'" Long shared.He wrapped up his thoughts on the performance."But I just thought it was cool. But in the end I just don't care about the halftime show much, but I was legitimately like, 'this is a quality show. We connected right away," said Megan.The meeting may have been by chance but it was no accident. Megan asked their lacrosse trainer a question about Chris."Who is that guy? He was so big, I thought for sure he was about to graduate. But he was in my grade so I thought, OK, that's a good thing," Megan shared.Chris Long said he liked Megan from the moment they met."She was obviously a great athlete. Getting to know how committed to her craft, lacrosse, was inspiring. We had a lot in common as far as that commitment.
