Christopher Nicks, the younger brother of Fleetwood Mac frontwoman Stevie Nicks, has passed away at seventy-two years old following a private cancer battle. His daughter, Nixi Parkinson Nicks, announced the news on Instagram, sharing that Christopher died on Friday, Sept. 4, more than two years after receiving his diagnosis. The type of cancer was not disclosed.Nixi shared a photograph of herself holding her late father's hand, captioning it,"Second star to the right, and straight on till morning. I love you, daddy. Nixi made clear that was entirely his choice, writing that he spent his last two and a half years battling cancer without telling most people, because he never wanted anyone worrying on his behalf.
