Snoop Dogg's daughter Cori Broadus is in the news after losing her baby girl.

Codi Dreaux was 10 months old when she passed away. Broadus' photographer and creative director fiancé Wayne Duece took to his Instagram story to share his grief.

He posted a photo of himself holding Codi. The baby had a breathing tube under her nose.

"I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you," he wrote.

As per a report shared by WCNC, Codi passed away on Monday. The baby had been in the NICU since the day she was born. Broadus revealed last year that Codi was born three months early.

Broadus talked about her time as a NICU mom in a September Instagram post.

"Becoming a NICU mom was not part of the plan, but it became part of my story. I carry my little warrior's strength with me every day," she wrote.

According to a report shared by Essence, Cori Broadus and Duece have been engaged since 2022. The couple is now navigating a difficult time with the loss of their baby.

Cori Broadus revealed a high-risk pregnancy before welcoming daughter Codi:

The road to having Codi was not easy for Cori Broadus. As per a report shared by People Magazine, she had a C-section delivery. The reason was that doctors found out she had developed HELLP syndrome, a serious condition that affects red blood cells, liver enzymes, and platelets.

After the birth, Codi stayed in the NICU for 10 months. Cori Broadus finally got to take her baby home in early January. She celebrated the moment on Instagram on January 6.

"She's home. 🤍. Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all. 🕊️✨," Broadus wrote.

Cori Broadus had first shared the news about her pregnancy back in December 2024. As per a report shared by E! News, she revealed at the time that she was expecting a girl.

"I'm high risk pregnancy and doctors were very concerned for me and the baby, but God has his hands on me, and me and the baby are doing perfectly fine. I'm having a girl," she said.

She also talked about the excitement she shared with Wayne Duece during the pregnancy.

"I'm just excited to love on my baby girl and make her feel like she's the prettiest in the world," Broadus shared.

Cori Broadus went on to talk about wanting to give Codi a different experience than what she had growing up.

"Growing up, I wasn't the most confident and never felt like I fit in, so just to instill all the beautiful things in her head at a young age. And I'm having a mini me. Wayne said he's excited to have someone that looks like me. He knows she is going to be so beautiful and he just can't wait to build things for her and give her all the love in the world," she added.

Broadus had earlier spoken about her relationship with Duece. According to a report shared by Bravo in 2024, she shared her thoughts during the release of Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne's Story. The show gave viewers an emotional peek into Cori Broadus' personal life. It showed the good times and the tough moments in her relationship. Wedding planning stress and running CHOC Factory together were also part of the show.

Wayne Duece now has more than 80k followers on Instagram. Cori Broadus talked about what makes their relationship work in detail.

"I think no matter what, we always come to a common ground and we're willing to work together to get through the hardest moments in life. I feel like sometimes me and Wayne used to joke, like, we're like grandparents; like grandma and grandpa. We're so young," Broadus said.

She went on to talk about everything the couple had been through over the past year.

"Even the TV series, all of that was a year. Everything you've seen was a year that we've been through all of this. But one thing that I love is that we always have each other back. We're always here for each other no matter what," she shared

She then concluded with the beautiful aspects of the relationships that were important to Wayne Deuce and herself.

"Whether we're on good terms, bad terms, I got his back and he got my back. And I think that's what's so beautiful is that no matter what, we have each other and we understand each other," she added.
