Who is Erica Yang? Broadway star Aaron Tveit reportedly expecting second child with wife

The Grease Live! actor-turned-Broadway star Aaron Tveit is expecting a second child with his wife, Erica Yang. According to Us Weekly, Aaron Tveit, 42, who got hitched to Yang in June 2025, took to Instagram to share a joint post with his wife featuring a bunch of pictures of them with their daughter, mentioning that they're expecting another child. The couple shared the joint IG post with a caption that read:

"We've been having the best summer with our little one… and our littlest one on the way."

Recipient of the Tony Award, Aaron Tveit, who got married to Erica in New York City in an intimate wedding ceremony with close friends and family, first came across Yang during the Broadway production of Moulin Rouge. According to People, Erica Yang, 44, who is Canadian, is an actress. While she is also a dancer, Erica also has a knack for singing and writing songs.

While Erica Yang started acting on Broadway at 20, she also became a part of the renowned New York-based dancing group Radio City Rockettes when she was just 17. During a conversation with Playbill, Yang said:

"I went for experience. And ended up with my first professional job."

As Aaron Tveit and Erica Yang became Instagram official in May 2021 after the Les Misérables actor shared a post on her birthday, they first attended a red carpet event as a couple in September 2021. While talking to Popsugar about a meaningful present that Erica gave him after he was nominated for the Tony Awards, Aaron said:

"I got a wonderful piece of jewelry from my girlfriend in the fall when I got nominated for a Tony Award. It was very, very meaningful."

Aaron Tveit prefers keeping his real-life with Erica Yang private

The BrainDead actor Aaron Tveit, during a 2022 interview with New York Theater Guide, shared that he likes to keep his personal life with Erica Yang away from the public eye and media attention. Aaron at the time said:

"At the end of the day, I just don't see why anyone would be interested in what I do outside my work."

However, while talking to Vogue in 2025, Erica stated that the reason she and Aaron planned a wedding ceremony was their daughter. Yang said:

"[Our daughter] is the reason we decided to have a wedding. We wanted to celebrate our love with our people. We are so happy we made it happen — and also happy to be back to our quiet lives for the time being."
