Jaclyn Cordeiro is making her feelings known. The forty-six-year-old fitness model, who is also famous for being Alex Rodriguez's ex-girlfriend, took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 26, with a pointed message about "peace" following her split from the former baseball star.
"POV: You're in your 40s and realize peace is the new luxury. Peace comes from protecting your energy, releasing control, and giving yourself permission to rest," she wrote.
She later continued by laying out her thoughts in a numbered list.
"1. Protect your time. Peace often starts with boundaries. Not every call, invitation, conflict, or expectation deserves access to you," she shared.
"2. Accept what you can't control. The need to fix everyone and everything steals peace faster than almost anything. Focus energy where you actually have influence," she continued.
"3. Make space for yourself without guilt. Even one quiet hour to rest, walk, sit in the sun, or do nothing is not selfish. It's maintenance for the person carrying so much. Jac🫶🏻," she added.
As per a report shared by People, Cordeiro is from Canada. She attended St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Secondary School in Ontario and later graduated from the University of Windsor with a bachelor of science and honors in nursing.
Jaclyn Cordeiro opens up about her split from Alex Rodriguez and life as a single mom:

Days before that Instagram post went up, Jaclyn Cordeiro had already addressed the breakup head-on. She put out a statement through TMZ on May 21, confirming the two had stepped away from the relationship.
"To clarify, Alex and I are currently taking some time apart, but there continues to be mutual love, care and deep respect between us and for our families. We remain supportive of one another, and there is absolutely no animosity, drama or negative story here."
A family health matter was also weighing on her at the time.
"I'm also navigating a serious health matter involving a family member at this time, so my focus is understandably there. Alex and I continue to be very close, and out of respect for everyone involved, especially our daughters and loved ones, I'd kindly ask that any reporting reflects the compassion and privacy this situation deserves."
Rodriguez, who is fifty years old, had been dating Jaclyn Cordeiro since October 2022, as per Us Weekly. Before her, he was married to Cynthia Scurtis until 2008, with whom he shares daughters Natasha and Ella.
Jaclyn Cordeiro is herself a single mom to daughters Bella and Savanah, born in May 2011 and October 2012, with her ex, Laureano, as per People. Her girls, whom Oxygen notes she considers her "motivation and inspiration," regularly turn up at her fitness competitions. She wrote in Status Fitness Magazine back in May 2021 that her "life's goal is to raise strong, independent, kind daughters," adding to Oxygen,
"I include them because I want them to see the hard work and dedication it takes to achieve goals. Exposing my daughters to the entire process allows them to understand and respect what I do for a lifestyle."
Alex Rodriguez once called Jaclyn Cordeiro a force of nature:

Back in October 2023, Rodriguez gave E! News' Francesca Amiker a rare glimpse into what drew him to Jaclyn Cordeiro, just months after making the relationship Instagram official.
"I have so much respect for Jac. She's Canadian. She lives in Windsor. She was a former nurse, so went to school for a bunch of time and then, during the pandemic, transitioned to health and inspiring and motivating people."
He was quick to make clear he was firmly in her corner.
"She has great clients. I'm one of them. She walks the walk every day. This 5:00 a.m. club, she's up every day at 4:30. I don't know how she does it. I'm more up around 6:30. But she's a force of nature and a great mom."
The couple had made their social media debut together in December 2022, nearly two years after his engagement to Jennifer Lopez fell apart.
In 2023, Rodriguez also opened up to Us Weekly about a moment Jaclyn Cordeiro was by his side for something deeply personal, move-in day for his daughter Natasha at college.
"I went with Jac, and we were waiting for Natasha before we left. We got there early to her dorms, and we saw a handful of parents saying goodbye to their children. And it was funny, every time it was exactly the same," he shared.
"The parents were a mess. The father would go into the driver's seat, the mom would give the hug to the young man or the young woman, and every time it was like the mom crying and the child consoling, kind of cute. It was no different with me," he added.
